
First Moon Ceremony
A rite-of-passage celebration
for 10-13 year olds( maturing premenstrual girls) & their support person(mom, dad, aunt, etc)
This powerful experience will instill confidence in a girl’s journey towards womanhood by removing societal shame around bleeding, creating connections with other same age youths, and embodying the emotional bandwidth necessary for the liminal spaces of the tween years and beyond
The flow of this experience will be:
~ welcome & introductions
~ flower crafting & storytime
~ ritual of letting go to grow
~ shared song
~ presentation of gift & tea with chocolate
