Emotional Alchemy

Emotional Alchemy is the ability to transform the darkness of a woman's soul into her superpower

I have a client who spent weeks worrying that her husband didn't desire her anymore since the birth of their child

They had one sexy night 6 weeks after birth but after that her husband had shown no interest

He was still doting on her but he hadn't come onto her in a sexual way since that night

All she could think and feel was the worst..

My body is different-he doesn't want me
My vulva is different-he doesn't want me
I am a mother in his eyes now-he doesn't want me

She told herself over and over that she was worth love
that her body was a miracle
that this is just a moment

she went on focusing on her baby and her new kind of life but underneath it all felt a little bit worthless and a whole lot of anxious

Finally she decided her only option was to seek the truth from her husband, scary as hell as hearing the truth would be

and when she finally took the leap and asked the unthinkable
"Why don't you want to fuck me"?

Her husband told her he had been waiting for her go-ahead that everything felt healed after the first time, he hadn't said anything or pressed her because he didn't want to pressure her, that would be an a-hole move

pheww crisis averted

Emotional Alchemy is the ability to transform the darkness of a woman's soul into her superpower

We are destined to feel it all and we can take it

If a woman deny's her feelings all her energy is sapped trying to cover up the cracks in the facade, like my client who tried to cover up her hurt

When we feel it, acknowledge it, and allow it

we free it

worthlessness becomes compassion, fear becomes curiosity

and the energy it took to hide those perceived unlovable aspects

Is freed up for more important work

Like
*Enjoying the newborn moments
*Quitting that shitty life sucking job
*Asking for that raise
*Creating that me-time
*Finding that lover
*Following your dreams

The ability to feel is our superpower
