Tips to feel more present and connected to your life
Morning body slow down before you start the doing. Shut eyes down, notice your breath, feel the weight of your body on the earth, feel into the different aspects of your body.
It is easy to get up out of bed and immediately start going. For me its-feed the baby, check in on work, etc. We can choose to begin grounded instead.
At anytime of the day ask your body what (he/she/they/etc.) desires
All day long our minds are talking back telling us how to do and who to be. Let’s slow down and ask what our body wants. You may be surprised at what bubbles up.
Get your body into nature
Nature invigorates, she feeds life, she nurtures, she is primal. Put your toes in the earth, touch a plant, hug a tree, dip your fingers in some wild water and get some of that natural energy!
